When you get your new SS Choice No 7 E Cigarette starter kit, it will have several componets in the box, and a few of them will be in boxes within the main box. You will have a box with the charger in it, a box with the charger cord and a box of refill cartridges with 5 seperate cartridges in it. On top of the component boxes, there will be a molded keeper that has a full e cigarette. It has a "BLANK" cartridge, an atomizer and a battery all together, and it will look like a full cigarette, there is another slot in the molded keeper that is just a battery.

Step 1. Take the cigarette that looks like a full e cigarette out of the molded keeper and hold it by the battery (the part that looks like the tobacco area of a real cigarette) and pull the cartridge off from the atomizer (the cartridge looks like a basic cigarette filter). This will reveal the atomizer. It should look like a shiny arch on top of the battery, and it also screws into the battery.

step 2. Once the cartridge is removed, take a replacement cartridge from the refill componet box, open the plastic wrapper and remove the rubber plug from the bottom end of it, once this is done, slide it on over the atomizer that is attached to the battery. Hold the unit with the battery down for 15 to 20 minutes so that the liquid in the cartridge wets the atomizer and has time to drain down into the atomizer. This "primes" the atomizer and helps to keep it from overheating. The easiest way to ruin an atomizer is to use it dry, so this step is important.

step 3. Using the e cigarette is simple, but a lot of people try to "overdo it" so to speak. Put the filter end to your mouth and taks slow, steady and easy puffs. Trying to take super puffs will get you nowhere fast. The first puff will give you little results because the atomizer need to heat up a little, so when you first pick it up, take your first puff expecting nothing, like what you get when you get a partial light on a regular cigarette. After that, just keep slow and easy puffs until you have had enough, then just set the unit down until you feel the urge for another cigarette.

NOTE:The average smoker only takes 7 puffs from a tobacco cigarette and you have to account for that since you can not see this one getting shorter, but as you get used to it, you will fall into your normal smoking patterns again, and sometimes less with the e cigarette.

BONUS: The No 7 batteries will fully charged in about 54 minutes and are supposed to have a full charge, but sitting for a couple of weeks can affect this, so we recommend putting a full charge on them prior to using. The batteries are Lithium Ion batteries and charge quickly and will build a "memory" if you do not use them until they are dead and then do a full re-charge.

RECHARING E CIGARETTE BATTERIES

step 1. Open the two other componet bozes, one will have a charging unit and will have a half circle shape on one end, and the other box will have the power cord. The end of the power cord that fits into the charger will plug into the flat end of the charger, and on the circular end there will be a hole to screw the battery in. Put the two untits together and plug into a wall socket. Take a battery and screw it into the charger end. Once this is done, a red light will appear on the charging unit, once it turns green, the battery is fully charged and ready for use.

The lights on the battery itself has different blinking codes. If you take too many puffs too fast, the battery will make the light blink 3 times, this is the battery telling you that you are overusing it and to take a break, it will reset in about 7 to 15 seconds so that the atomizer can cool a bit.

When the battery is ready for re-charging, it will blink 15 times in a row, this is the signal that it is time for a full charge.
